Around the world, and in Gujarati
Venkateswara of Tirumala, the Lord of the seven hills, draws devotees from every part of India, Gujarat among them, and the Venkatesha Stotram sings his praise. The verses come from the Brahmanda Purana, from the greatness of the Venkata mountain told by Brahma to Narada. People chant them on Saturdays, the Lord's own day, and as a daily refuge, for protection, for the clearing of worries, and out of love for Srinivasa. Known also as Balaji, he is worshipped by millions, at Tirumala and in Balaji temples on every continent, wherever Indian families have made a home. This version sets the same verses in the Gujarati script, so you can read and chant them in your own letters.
